Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples, an American singer and actress. She received the best recognition for her performance as Layla Grant in the drama series Nashville (2012) and Claudia Shepard in Sharknado (2013). She also played the main part of Jerrica Jem Betnton in the film Jem and the Holograms (2005). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. She is the younger sister of Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. She is a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School and was named valedictory for students of the 2012 class as she completed her studies. Harvard University initially accepted her application but then decided to allow her in for a second entry because she was chosen to play 'Nashville'. Peeples appeared in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had a recurring role in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress appeared on TV as a character in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. She had a major role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples disclosed that she suffers from bipolar disorder in an interview in the spring of 2019 with NKD Magazine. Indiewire ranked Peeples in the top spot on its list of best actors younger than twenty in September 2014.
